How to lock any app with Face ID on an iPhone using iOS 18

Long-press on an app icon to bring up the app menu. Tap Require Face ID to lock the app with Face ID. The following pop-up menu will ask you to confirm by again tapping Require Face ID. Alternatively, on the second menu, you can tap Hide and Require Face ID to lock the app with Face ID and hide it from your homescreens.
