iPhone 15 release date gets its biggest leak yet

Apple is gearing up to release its next iPhone, the iPhone 15. We’re used to this being a fall event, usually in September. This time around, there’s been speculation over when the event will actually occur because of reports that the iPhone 15 release may be delayed until October this time around.

With Apple traditionally announcing new models in September we can see previous release dates and make an educated guess as to what Apple’s plans might be. However, sources speaking to 9to5Mac are pointing to one date in particular — September 13.

Lastly, Gurman also stated that Apple is reducing the bezel size of the iPhone 15 Pro line from 2.2mm to 1.5mm. The Cupertino company is apparently adopting a new low-injection pressure over-molding (LIPO) manufacturing process, reportedly used on the Apple Watch Series 7. Eventually, Apple could use this process for iPads as well.

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Apple acknowledged an ongoing bug that affects its Screen Time feature, a parental control tool on iPhones and iPads, which allows children to bypass time limits and access potentially unsafe content without their knowledge.
