After surprising users with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 a year after the first model, Apple might not unveil a third gen in 2024.

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on Thursday issued an order that could bar Apple from importing its Apple Watches after finding that the devices violate medical technology company Masimo’s patent rights.

It’s only coming to the latest Apple Watches (for now at least) via watchOS 10.1 because Apple says the new S9 SIP is necessary to get the best experience.

In a post published on Wednesday, William Gallagher of AppleInsider reported on Apple Watch making “unmistakable progress” in identifying Parkinson’s disease.
