iPhone SE 4 displays could come from a very familiar name

We’re expecting the iPhone SE 4 to look very much like the iPhone 14 above, and it’s likely to have a very similar display: the iPhone SE 4 is reportedly getting a 6.06-inch OLED display, the first time that OLEDs have made it into Apple’s SE range. And now a new report says that those panels could be coming from a very familiar name in OLEDs: LG.

Will the iPhone SE 4 recycle the iPhone 13’s display?

That is to say, that the iPhone SE 4 will have a single camera on the back still, but the whole camera kit, i.e. the sensor and lens and flash combo, will be aligned vertically. The front, however, will look like the iPhone 13 and carry its 6.1-inch OLED display.

iPhone SE 4 tipped for earlier than expected launch date

It’s certainly possible, not least because it would steal some of Samsung ‘s thunder: January is when Samsung usually announces its latest Galaxy S series phones, and a higher-spec but still affordable iPhone SE could be a good spoiler for the Samsung Galaxy S25 launch that month.
